This painting is about trying to pick up the pieces after the last two years. People say the pandemic is over when it’s definitely not but the thought of having to stay in my house any longer makes me have a panic attack. And mourning the time that I’ve lost and will never get back, my mid-twenties, my “prime.” And the unfathomable number of lives lost.
